Reporting an error
Corrections get priority over everything else in our inbox. Because this site is about animal health, a wrong number matters — so if something looks off, please tell us even if you are not certain. The more of this you can include, the faster it gets fixed:
- • The page address, and the sentence or figure in question
- • What you entered, if it was a calculator
- • What you expected instead, and why
- • A source, if you have one — vets and nurses especially
When we confirm an error we correct the tool and every page that repeats the same figure, not just the page you found it on.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give advice about your individual pet, diagnose anything, or recommend treatment or doses — that needs someone who can examine the animal. If your pet is unwell, has stopped eating, is losing weight, may have swallowed something harmful or is having trouble during labour, contact your vet or an emergency clinic straight away rather than waiting for a reply from us.
